| About the Website... |
| The purpose of this website, besides showcasing my work, is to share to people websites that for me are worthy of recognition. These designs range from abstract, typography, to corporate and freestyle design. A lot of websites remain unnoticed and I wanted to contribute to their discovery. |
| This is the first personal website that I was able to make. I've tried doing this before but I always end up finishing only a splash page then new ideas come and most of them do not fit my current design. |

| I decided to make it simple, lite and basic primarily because I wanted to be able to finish this as soon as I can. I was inspired by several websites. What I did was to capture their idea and form a single concept of my own. The mood is clean, warm and bright. I'm trying to experiment with bright colors this time because I've been so into neutral that it's starting to bore me. |
| Everything you see here was designed by me. The animations, all the images and half of the javascripts. The other half I got from information websites. |

| I am Mel Kristian Mansilla Cruz. I'm actually trying to be a web designer. Because I was still in school, I barely had time to do a lot of personal projects. Just a lot of explorations and then some actual output. I'm still such a novice in this field though. |
| I have several experiences involving HTML, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, and MySQL, which are all web related. Also a little knowledge on Java, Java Applet, COBOL, C, C++, Prolog, and Lex. I'm also familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Image Ready. |
